Spline-based deconvolution
نویسندگان
چکیده
This paper proposes robust algorithms to perform deconvolution and inversion of the heat equation starting from 1D and 2D discrete noised data. The solutions are provided as splines that minimize some parameterized quadratic functionals. Parameters choice determines the trade-off between the regularity of the solution and the approximation of the initial data. The solutions are derived in an explicit form that uses aversion of harmonic analysis in splines spaces. The presented algorithms are easily implemented in a fast way while providing stable approximate solutions that restore the exact solutions with high accuracy even when the initial data are severely corrupted by noise. The approximate solutions have the same smoothness as the exact solution. The convergence of the approximate solutions to the exact solutions is proved when the sampling rate and the signals-to-noise ratios increase. & 2009 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Frequency Domain Multichannel Blind Deconvolution Using Adaptive Spline Functions
In this paper a new architecture for multichannel blind deconvolution in the frequency domain is presented. It is based on a new complex-domain non-linear function, built with a couple of spline functions, one for the real and one for the imaginary part, whose control points are adaptively changed using gradient-based techniques. B-spline functions are used since they allow to impose only simpl...
متن کاملDeconvolution, Differentiation and Fourier Transformation Algorithms for Noise-containing Data Based on Splines and Global Approximation
One of the main problems in the analysis of measured spectra is how to reduce the influence of noise in data processing. We show a deconvolution, a differentiation and a Fourier Transform algorithm that can be run on a small computer (64 K RAM) and suffer less from noise than commonly used routines. This objective is achieved by implementing spline based functions in mathematical operations to ...
متن کاملA Deconvolution Estimate and Localization in Spline-type Spaces
In this article some explicit estimates on the decay of the convolutive inverse of a sequence are proved. They are derived from the functional calculus for Sobolev algebras. Applications include localization in spline-type spaces and oversampling schemes.
متن کاملBlind signal processing by complex domain adaptive spline neural networks
In this paper, neural networks based on an adaptive nonlinear function suitable for both blind complex time domain signal separation and blind frequency domain signal deconvolution, are presented. This activation function, whose shape is modified during learning, is based on a couple of spline functions, one for the real and one for the imaginary part of the input. The shape control points are ...
متن کاملModelling Parameter Role on Accuracy of Cardiac Perfusion Quantification
Cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) perfusion data are suitable for quantitative measurement of myocardial blood flow. The goal of perfusionCMR postprocessing is to recover tissue impulse-response from observed signalintensity curves. While several deconvolution techniques are available for this purpose, all of them use models with varying parameters for the representation of the impulse-re...
متن کاملThe relationship between spatial resolution levels and quantitative myocardial perfusion
Background Dynamic contrast enhanced cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-CMR) allows for high-resolution analysis of myocardial perfusion by preserving important spatial information. However high resolution perfusion quantification suffers from the poor signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of voxel-based data. Previously spatial averaging (segmental or sub-segmental analysis) has been used to...
